Children at Marine Park certainly party hard! Year 5 and 6 danced to the, 'Best Song Ever' and attempted to answer the question, 'What did the Fox say?'

Design and Technology - Key Rings

Children in Year 5 attended a Design and Technology workshop at Harton Technology College. The children designed and created their very own key rings using the 2D ICT program and a laser cutter.

Dave the rabbit!

Dave the rabbit made a festive visit to Marine Park today. He thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the children and chewing the carpet!

Childline - Years 5 and 6

The children of Years 5 and 6 have participated in workshops to promote and raise awarenes of the charity, Childline. During the workshop, children found out about what Childline does and how they help children in need.

P.E. - Gymnastics

This half term in PE children have had the opportunity to take part in Gymnastics lead by local coach, Kimberly Sayer, from South Tyneside Gymnastics Club. Children have been looking at balance and posture whilst moving around and using different equipment.

KS2 Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics Event

A big well done to all the children who took part in the KS2 Sports Hall Athletics event at Temple Park on Friday. Children competed against a number of schools from around the borough in a number of athletic events. Children performed admirably and showed great sense of sportsmanship, supporting not only competitors of Marine Park but other schools.

Hazel has been elected to join Josh as the Year 5 representatives this year.

Writing inspired by Roald Dahl

This half term, children have been using the style of Roald Dahl to create there own short stories. Using their imaginations, they created storyboards, character descriptions, setting descriptions and created a funny demise for a character!
